Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to handle your booking. No profiling, no advertising.
Data controller
Susana and Antonio, hosts of L'Oasi della Pace, Cisterna di Latina (LT), Italy. National identification code IT059005C2YI6KQ33Z. You can write to us at the address on the Contact page.
What we collect
When you book or send a request: name, email, phone (optional), stay dates, number of guests and the message you leave us. Card details never touch our site: Stripe handles them.
Why we use it
To confirm and manage your booking, send you arrival instructions, meet legal obligations (guest registration with the Italian police and tourist tax) and answer your questions. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Stripe (payments), Nominalia (email), Vercel (hosting and anonymous statistics), Upstash (booking records, stored in Europe). None of our providers use your data for their own purposes. We never sell or pass data on for marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking data for 10 years, as required by Italian tax law. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 12 months.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking or profiling cookies, so we don't ask for consent. We only use technical cookies: your chosen language and any discount code. To count visits we use Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify visitors: the data is anonymous and aggregated. During payment, Stripe uses its own technical and anti-fraud cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante). Just write to us.
